its happening

Dear Diary,

Its starting to happen. I can't stop thinking about him. Yes, Eric.

I don't know what it is exactly about him. Sometimes, he can really be so matter of fact then suddenly he's a real goof. Is that my fault? He's a clumsy dancer. Although, I think he thinks he's hot. Kind of. And maybe I think he is too. Well, no one really knows. I guess, but us.

Becca, who I know at the library (Yes, I do know Junior Friends), told me its like I turned this key and he's not anything like he was.

"You know, he's really cute now," Becca said this which made me want to laugh. "Its like you upgraded him."

"Really?" I'm still baffled what I did.

"He's so into you. And you're so into him. Its disgusting," Yeah, she says we're disgustingly happy. I'm not sure she can be around me. Especially, if Eric is around. I don't mean to ignore people. But it happens.

I so vowed I'd never be that girl to ignore all my friends when a guy came along and here I am delirious just seeing him.

But its happening. And I so hope I can handle it. Especially, with Mom. I hope she won't make things difficult. After all, how can she stand Geo? He's like the genius who doesn't talk, and I kind of wonder if he ever takes a bath. How can my sister stand him? How could they not like Eric?

Of course, Lisa had to rub it in, her most recent boyfriend before Geo, the Zach athletic guy, is in trouble. He's going to jail for something. Something about drugs or gambling. Not sure which. But Lisa is so happy about that. And she tries to make Geo out to be so great.

Then I start thinking about Eric and how I'm so thankful he's not Rex. You know, I'm glad he never called me. I'm glad I don't even think about him. Its a mistake I don't ever want to think about again. I'm not wasting another second thinking about him.

Eric's not Kyle. Kyle couldn't do anything now and make me want to come back to him. Not going to happen.

Back to Eric. He's so Eric who just makes me want to be around him more. Maybe he's intoxicating, but then I've never gotten drunk before.
