Happy New Year!

OK, things weren't perfect in Lux's life. She'd had a meltdown when she found out her friend Jordon was going to have a baby with her brother. It just didn't seem real.

"This is no time to make them feel bad," Will reminded her that it was part of life, now wasn't it.

She felt more at ease at Evan's. Except, she felt so sad for him and Jool's too.

Will started cleaning up the leftover chocolate before someone could get to it. After all, that certain someone was the center of their attention. Of course, she felt as if everything was better with Will around.

Yes, they were more than friends, his family had taken her in as well as the baby. They had had an exceptional Christmas. Even better than she ever imagined.

But here they were at their friends' apartment, wondering what would happen next. She knew Jools was in a terrible mood. Perhaps, Evan couldn't even tell.

Although, he showed up with egg rolls, sweet and sour shrimp and chicken along with extra fried rice. He was ready to celebrate the new year, and it seemed he was ready to spend the new year with Jools.
