Kyle was with Eric. They were talking about what they'd do if they ever got their band on stage. Eric was telling Kyle how great the bass player was from Birthday Massacre. "We could learn a thing or two from them, you know?" Kyle listened intently as if they were on a field trip and this was important information. Naturally, he wouldn't even look at Ellie.

She hated this. She hated how he was around her. It was if she wasn't there, but then Eric had his arm around her. Her own sweat was getting to her, already. She just wanted to get by a huge fan, yet she didn't budge.

"Maybe we can hang out after the show." Eric shrugged. Ellie cringed. Was he out of his mind? Kyle nodded and then went off to mingle in the crowd.

"You're not serious, are you?" As Ellie recalled, Kyle couldn't even get through the song Ironman. Now they were starting a band?

"Why not?" He had that silly smile. It wasn't sinister in the least. "Its just music."

"I guess."

"He was hardly your boyfriend. I wouldn't even call him an ex. He's OK with everything, you know that." He wrapped himself around her once again. Ellie just wished she was OK with everything with Kyle.

The music started again. This time, people were starting to move in waves of music that came up through their feet and shook their bodies with excitement.

Eric was jumping. All Ellie knew to do was jump with him. It was fun, but exhausting. She noticed Kyle dancing with Roxie then. Ellie kept trying to concentrate on the music, but it was hard. Especially, when they were having so much fun together. He was touching her. It was disgusting. And he couldn't even manage to say hello to Ellie.

It hurt.

She decided to start making out with Eric during Red Stars, who didn't seem to mind. Of course, she couldn't hear a thing he said. And he stopped talking. Just kissing. Deep kisses that could take her anywhere but here.

Somehow they'd rolled into the crowd instead of out of the crowd. They were closer to the moshing now. Some drunk girl pushed Eric. Then a girl in spiked heels stomped Ellie's foot. Ellie looked over and saw it was Roxie. She was furious.

Ellie let go of Eric then and shoved Roxie. Everyone else was shoving too. It was like rolling in and out of one huge tide. Eric tried to hang on as Ellie went into the ocean of people.

Just then a cute guy pulled her back by the arm. "Thanks." Ellie was grateful. She was back to Eric then who wasn't letting her go. She just noticed then that the cute guy was actually a girl, and she was with her girlfriend.

The set was finally coming to an end and Eric pulled themselves back toward the refreshment area. "I can't believe this, but my sister is here with her girlfriend." He sounded crushed.

"What is so wrong with that?"

"You don't know, Dora." Eric shook his head, no. "She's the bitch of all bitches. And we have sort of this hate relationship. I'd rather her not know we were here." But here she was with the girl who looked like the cute guy who had came to Ellie's rescue.

"Why didn't you tell me you were coming?" She poked him in the chest with her wicked black fingernail.

"I'm sorry, but you're the one who lives four hours away. I don't even know why you're here." Eric shrugged.

"We're doing the MSI summer tour," Dora said.

"Mom know about this?"

"Its my summer. I can do what I want." Her voice was loud and she did have the wicked sister thing down as she pushed into his face. "Who's this?" She had her hands on her hips and gave Ellie the look over.

"Ellie, this is my sister, Dora." Eric wasn't smiling. Eric was practically hiding in his shell.

"Hi," Ellie wasn't sure if she was much help. She hoped his sister didn't want her dress back. This could get scary.

"Sweet." Dora pursed her lips. Her hair was dyed black, and she looked as if she could have been the lead singer from Birthday Massacre's twin. "Don't do anything I wouldn't do." And then she walked off with her girlfriend. For a moment, Ellie wondered if Eric had this warped idea that he wanted her to dress like his sister.

"Close call." Eric sighed. "She doesn't want Mom to know she was here. She's suppose to be taking summer classes."

"Its OK. I'm not gonna tell." Ellie wasn't sure if that would be much comfort, but Ellie would never speak of his sister.

"Yeah, there would be hell to pay." He slightly smiled then. She held his hand. It wouldn't be long until the last band. MSI.
