"Well, that's four hours of my life I'm never getting back," Eric said almost bitterly after they dropped Leia off.

"Maybe she was just nervous," It was getting a tad dark out as they drove home.

"He's an idiot," Eric told her.

"OK, I know you're right." Ellie winced. She didn't want to say it, but what did Leia see in this Dylan.

"He's been to how many universities in the last two years?" Eric sighed.

"Four, I think."

"And he went off about his so called electric thingie he wants to patent." Eric grimaced as his white knuckles shown on the stirring wheel as he drove back to Ellie's.

"Maybe he's a genius."

"I don't think so." Eric grinned. "What's even better, I don't think Leia even knows it. She's so damn smitten. She better open her eyes."

"He doesn't even drive," Ellie looked out the window.

"We're never going anywhere with them, right?" Eric looked over at Ellie.

"Of course." Ellie nodded. They drove up to her driveway by then.

"Things still sticky at home?" Eric then asked.

Ellie just shrugged. "Want to watch TV?"

"I suppose." Eric cut the engine then.

But Kyle and Roxie already had the couch taken when they got to the livingroom.

"Where you been?" Kyle had his arm around Roxie and she was hugging him like he was the best thing one could hold on to if their was no Gossip Girl to watch. They were watching cartoons.

"Just a Leia thing," Ellie shrugged.

"It wasn't exactly a blind date, was it?" Eric said to Ellie.

"She's not my friend anymore," Roxie announced as if they shouldn't speak of her now.

"When did that happen?" Ellie found herself actually talking to Roxie, but not wanting too.

"Since I found Kyle."

Eric's body shook with laughter. He could barely hold it in.

"What's so funny?" Kyle wanted to know.

"I'm sure it was all for the better," Eric tried to say, keeping a straight face. "You know, giving up Leia for Kyle."

"Lets go to my room." Ellie couldn't take one more sentence about Leia.
