warp speed and other assorted things

Eric was making fried rice with left over roasted chicken.

"You're sure its OK if you're here?" Eric asked her as if she might have some sort of security device on her ankle, and it might go off any moment.

"I am on a walk," Ellie could be mysterious too. Except his mother's cats weren't all that happy to see Henry.

"OK, but you're supposed to have dinner at home, aren't you?" He was a little busy with the skillet and chicken and rice.

"Eventually." She smirked just a bit.

He stopped cooking then. Turned off the heat.

"All right then." He looked at his watch. "Do you have time to-" He shook his head, no.

"Maybe."

"You don't even know what I was going to ask?" He grinned taking her hand.

"Oh, yeah, like you want to wrap presents are something," Ellie looked back at Henry in the livingroom, she hoped he could fend for himself while they were in Eric's room.

Of course, it might as well have been a conjugal visit. Everything went as quickly and quietly as possible. Not one word spoken. But just the same, Ellie knew he meant every part of it even if it was a rush. Warp speed sex in a slam dunk.

Before she knew it, he was buttoning his shirt up again.

"I could stay for dinner, you know." Ellie felt like staying right there in bed. It would be a nice thought, just to stay. Quietly. While he made dinner for his Mom and when it was over, he could come right back and everything could be nice and slow and...and.

"You're sure?" Eric grinned at her more. "You'd still have to get dressed."

"OK," Ellie reached for her bra then and panties on the floor. "I saw something strange, by the way." She finally remembered why she came in the first place.

"Really?"

"Yeah, at the playground," Ellie got her jeans on and her T-shirt. "I saw Roger at the park and he's in my hat. And his face is covered. He looks like a girl."

"Are you sure?"

"I think so."

He handed her a brush then to brush her hair out.

"I gotta finish dinner."

While he went back to the kitchen, she called home on her cell about dinner with Eric. It wasn't really a white lie, she told, but at least she wasn't grounded anymore, either.
