Kyle was asking Amanda how comfortable she'd be, going out with Roger and everyone.
"Its not like you have to sit by him, you know." Kyle shrugged.
"I don't have a problem with Roger nor Cory, either." She hugged herself. "I have Dylan in my face everyday, you know. I'm fine with them. OK."
"Then there is Nick and Kelsey, too. What about that?"
They were in his kitchen and he'd made her an omelette along with some hash-browns.
"What about them?"
"Nothing." He shrugged.
"No, you tell me?" Amanda waited. "I don't know this Kelsey."
"I knew her in middle school." Kyle shrugged.
"So." She dug in tot he cheesy eggs and scooped up some hash-browns with them. It was good. Really good. She hoped she didn't regret this.
"Well, uh, I thought I'd marry her some day." Kyle stated.
Amanda thought she might choke.
"Stupid, huh? Like that would ever happen." He chuckled. "I just thought if it took 15 years or so, I could do it. Hopeless idiot. But I don't feel that way anymore. I really don't. She-she cheated on me, and well, its nothing now."
Amanda just nodded.
"But would you be OK with that? If they come to the movies with us?"
"I guess." She didn't want to care. Really she didn't. "Lets go to the movies." She nodded. It had been forever since they'd been out.
Hi there-poor Amanda, Kyle didn't need to say Kelsey was his first love of his life!!
ReplyDeleteHe's one of a kind..maybe he's too honest sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe he did that but he would.
ReplyDeleteAw, Kyle is so honest ^^ Hope that doesn't hurt Amanda's feelings though...
ReplyDeleteIt'd be worse if she would accidentaly find out later.
I like where this might be going :)
And hope you get to enjoy your weekend?
