thinking it over

Eric was for a loss of words. He didn't know what to say to Oliver then.

Honestly, he thought Ian told him everything. Was Ian closer to Oliver than to him? It felt like it. What had he done to shut him off? This is what aggravated him. It didn't bother him so much that his brother had gone gay on him, but the thought that he didn't feel comfortable enough to talk to him.

He put Ella to bed then. He wound up her little music box on the crib and Its a small world began to play.

Suddenly, he thought of that hickey on Ian's neck. It never occurred to him until now that Derrick gave Ian that hickey.

When he got back down stairs, Oliver had an ale waiting for him.

"I thought something was up." Although Eric didn't think it would be that, exactly. "When I went over to check on him at Amanda's."

"Its not that upsetting to you, is it?" Oliver looked at him.

"I'm-I'm just trying to figure this out, I guess." Eric tried his best to smile. But it was devastating, the thought of know truly knowing his little brother got to the heart of it. This  had to be joke. Just had to be, but Eric wasn't going to dare bring that up.

"What's there to figure out?" Oliver drank at his ale then and was ready for another.

"I just hope he knows what he's doing." Eric shook his head. A bit of misery crossed him. Eric didn't want to let it show. He didn't know what to say. Maybe nothing was best.

"I'm sure he'll come to you, if he has any questions." Oliver smiled.

"Well, he hasn't yet." He felt a little sad that maybe he and Ian would never be close now.

  2. I hope Eric can accept things the way they are. :/

By the way, I just saw the Cafe Fashionista button you have on your sidebar. Thank you so, so much for your support - I am so flattered. Also, I LOVE that it is a picture of Blair Waldorf - one of my favorite characters in the world!! :)

  7. I think Eric just needs a little time to think things out. I am pretty sure he will be the best he can, once he thinks things through a bit. I just hope that he doesn't feel like he has to put on a fake smile for Oliver now. He should just be honest with him, like he is now.
