just a question

Ravi had decided Penelope didn't have any friends. He saw how she was at work. She really wasn't one of the guys. Maybe that was why they had moved her, over to the D.A.R.E program. He didn't dare (no pun intended) ask if she were ever coming back. So when her saw her down at the police station, he was trying his best to get on her good side, he supposed.

"So, you should just come with Olivia and me to this house warming party. You can meet some of Olivia's friends." Ravi knew she wouldn't go the moment he said it because, well, it wasn't her style. "Not like we're trying to ambush you on a blind date or anything. I just thought you might want to have some free food. And you can come with us, since its out of town. Our old roommate moved in with his brother. We kind of, have to go. But like I said, free food. Really good food." He knew he should have shut up already, since she looked as if she didn't even want to be at the police station.

"OK." She said it as if to shut him up. She was walking toward the exit.

"Really?" Ravi was shocked. What had happened to cold hearted Penelope? Was she really wanting to be Olivia's sister now?

"Yeah." She winced as if she didn't have time for this.

Ravi smiled. Finally, he felt he'd connected to Penelope. He just hoped it was a good thing.
