its one of those kind of days

Daisy couldn't concentrate. Sure, she wanted the job at the theater, but someone was making it impossible to remember anything.

It was her boss, the assistant manager at the movie theater, Cedric.

How could this be happening to her? She was, after all, seeing the most beautiful boy in the world, Max. Although, Cedric was older and sophisticated. So much style in the suits he wore. He was like breathing something she'd never quite sensed existed, until now. And she hated him.

She was extra quiet, trying her best to follow all his instructions as he took them on a tour of the ins and outs of the theaters. He showed them where the projector room was located. The secret passages behind the concessions area.

Of course, she was about to trip over her own two feet, being in his presence.

"Are you sure, you want to be here?" Max asked her as they were finding their locker in the room where they put their things when they came in to work.

"What do you mean?" She tried to laugh. Had he noticed that she had an idiotic crush on the assistant manager? She didn't mean too. She didn't want too. It was weird and not at all pleasant like she hoped.

"I dunno. You seem like...you might be sick." He told her.

"Well, I'm not." Daisy was determined to do this. She would not let her new boss get to her. Of course, she had to keep her hands off Max, too. Yes, maybe she didn't belong here, but she needed this job, and of course... she wanted to keep lingering when Cedric was about.
