Blame it on my A.D.D., Baby

Blame it on my A.D.D.

"I want to go home. I do. I just don't want to be on the news or anything." Vada fessed up as she sat on Alo's bed.

He paced back and forth, thinking. She watched him like maybe he wasn't nearly as smart as she thought he was.

"If..if I could just talk to Joel." She sighed, nursing her bottom lip.

"But you don't want too." Alo glared at her as if she was her own worst enemy, but then he didn't think much of Joel, either. He gritted more as he jerked out his cell to call Joel. See if he had any bright ideas. But when Joel picked up, he sounded to be at a party or somewhere having a laugh.

"You, need to help Vada." Alo was ever so serious.

"Can't!"

Alo pulled away from his cell. Even, Vada heard that Joel was off in Portugal.

"You, with Liv?"

"Yeah! Baby!"

Alo grimaced. Joel sounded drunk or even worse. He wasn't much better than Benji these days. Alo hung up.

"I'll see ..that you get home." Alo sighed.

"What?" Vada looked up at him.

"We'll just see how it goes." No need to call attention to themselves. Wasn't like they were reckless like someone he knew.

"I can't believe Joel." She shook her head. It was easy to see she was clearly disgusted with him.

"You, knew you were over him weeks ago." Alo knew she didn't love him.

"Still, he was my friend." She was even lipped.

"But not your lover." Alo looked away as if he shouldn't get into it with her.

She sighed heavily as if she might be troubled. He leaned in, hoping she'd forget whatever it was on her mind.

When they kissed, Alo couldn't help but smile. Maybe she wasn't so troubled, after all.

  1. I think Alo needs to step back from Vada... because she doesn't know what she wants yet...
