Does it really matter

Does it really matter?

Who knew it was going to be so hard to get married?

"You're making this complicated, Mom." Ducky shook his head, certain he'd said too much. Why did she have to bring up his little brother Joon aka Jamie.

"But, it'll be only a few weeks, he wants to be here for your wedding." She sounded pleased to hear from him. However, she was the one to call him about the news. Jamie lived with their father in Portland.  When his parents divorced, Ducky went with his Mom and high schooler Jamie stuck with his Dad.

Ducky gritted. He didn't want to bring this to Xander's attention. After all, Xander thought Ducky's family was perfect.

"What's she talking about?" Xander was in the kitchen with Su-Ra, who didn't plan to go back to Korea until the wedding was over. They were chopping up veggies to stir-fry for dinner.

"About that." Ducky practically winked in discomfort. "Its..nothing really."

"His brother is studying to be a doctor too." Vera, Ducky's mom beamed with happiness, as if two doctors in the family was much better, than one.

Ducky, only sighed as he hugged himself.

"How come, you never mentioned him?" Xander popped an almond in his mouth and fed one to Ducky too. All Ducky could manage was to crunch on a nut.

"He's a sore subject." Vera filled in the blank. "Ducky feels his little brother is too competitive."

Xander smirked. "Does this mean...he'll be getting married too?"

"No, he's decided to move in, once Ducky's moved out with you." Vera told them both. After all, this real estate lady had found them a home. Move in ready.

Ducky looked at Xander, wishing they were already there. Honestly, he had nothing to say to his little brother.
