only a brother would know

Xander wished Ducky would lighten up. What could happen with his little brother around?

"Don't you like each other?" Of course, it wasn't until this past year that he'd gotten to know his own brother Simon (even if they were only half-siblings). Xander was happy to know him.

There were times, he could imagine an American version of himself through his brother's eyes. However, they were complete opposites, too. Simon was straight, yet a romantic at heart. Maybe Xander was, too. Still, they'd hit a rough patch with his step-mom who would have nothing to do with Su-Ra.

Xander didn't understand his Step-Mom's actions. Still, Xander would be there for Simon, who could call him, anytime, anywhere.

"You, should be that way with your little brother." Xander told Ducky.

"But..but he's such a baby." Ducky swelled a frown.

"I think, you're the one, being the baby." Xander pointed out that he should be happy his brother was coming to their wedding, which would be a garden wedding in his soon to be mother-in-law's back yard.

"You'll say, he's a carbon copy of me." Ducky snapped. "Which..is not true. WE, are nothing alike."

"How so?" Xander headed back to the kitchen to help with dinner.

"Because.. everyone loves Jamie." Ducky looked at him blankly.

Xander couldn't help but smirk. Jamie couldn't be that perfect.
