an unlikely story

Liam figured Cody might have a whole harem of girls, or he might be one of those one girl at a time kind of guys, but he kind of guessed it.

Liam couldn't help but smirk. Honestly, he'd never been in a real relationship, unless he could count Bom. Even though, they were more gaming partners, that anything.

He knew she wanted him to meet Joon (Her step-brother who she hadn't seen since they were together, and she meant that as if a full-blown relationship) It bugged Liam a little that she still brought Joon up.

Liam didn't remember him. After all, Joon was older, but so was Bom. Liam knew he wasn't anything like people thought he was.

Actually, he was shy. He would be lucky if he was a programmer someday. At the rate he was going with his grades, he would find out if he did make it, after all, he would find out all those jobs were gone.

Still, it was Bom who navigated him to get here. He knew, she secretly wanted to know what Joon was up too. Honestly, Liam really didn't care, but she'd fed him through text that he lived in the same building as Joon.

As much time as she'd invested on Joon's whereabouts, couldn't she have passed the Civil Servants test by now?

"I bet you've gotta a girl." His roommate Cody teased.

Liam held in a soft laugh, shook his head, no. "It's not like that." He knew. "Possibly, I'm the best little brother she's ever had, but that's about it." He told him they were friends.

"Friends with benefits," Cody smirked.

Liam shook his head, no. Although, he wondered if him being in the states, really came with benefits.

"You sure, your name isn't Dong, or anything?" Cody wanted to know.

"I'm not Chinese." Liam winced. He got up then. It was time to go to his domain. He was certain Bom would be texting him soon, but he needed a nap, maybe even bedtime. He'd be finding his way around the University, and maybe he'd run into Joon, too.
