Let's talk about Dakota

Liv was used to life with Joey and their new baby Jessie. Actually, she hadn't had time to worry about Dakota like she knew she should. But when this boy showed up asking for Dakota, she didn't know if she should be worried or not.

His name was Noah and he lived down the street. He went to school with Dakota and he loved hanging out with Dakota for hours, playing board games and of course snacking and the meals he could hardly wait to eat.

When she told Ducky about this (actually, she was hoping to discuss it with Xander but he was studying hard with his nursing classes while her husband Joey was working overtime at his own job.)

"I dunno, maybe he's in love with you and your cooking." Ducky smiled as if maybe this had nothing to do with Dakota after all.

Liv really wanted to punch him or kick him, making fun of the situation. Instead, she handed the baby over to him to hold for a while.

"Maybe, he really wishes he had a home like Dakota's." He told her. "He probably feels safe and if he hasn't really done anything but maybe eat you out of house and home, you should let him come over."

Liv nodded. She guessed he might be right. She didn't know Noah's parents. Maybe his life wasn't as calm as theirs.

"It's just I'm not ready for Dakota to be into boys." Liv shrugged.

"Oh, she can take care of herself." Ducky grinned. "Don't worry about that."

Liv nodded thinking there would be one more at their house to have Christmas for. If only there was time to be in a more holiday mood.
