Hello March

 Alfie was pretty sure Boone was in the doghouse for the rest of February after Valentine's Day with Lily.

"You know, you aren't as romantic as I thought you were," Alfie told him when they met up for breakfast at the coffee shop.

"Well, maybe we are more alike than you know," Boone smirked back before he dove into the Heavenly waffles while Alfie munched on a sausage stick. He nodded as if he knew it was true.

"Was she that mad on Valentine's day?" He wanted to know.

"Oh, she got over it. I made her dinner all of the next week and we watched all of her favorite movies she could find on Prime. It's good." Boone told him.

"It's hard to give you advice, you know." Alfie sipped his creamed coffee then. Yes, there were quite a few enjoying brunch on this Saturday morning and maybe he couldn't say everything on his mind.

"So how is that Zoey?" Boone didn't seem to want to dwell on his world with Lily.

"Oh, I think she is still stressed about her job, sometimes." He said Valentine's Day was quaint with flowers and all. They ended up babysitting Angel so Dan and Ivy could go out.

"That was nice of you guys," Boon mentioned.

"Yeah, we were gonna do something with Gage and Nora, but you know-" Alfie then mentioned he thought Zoey secretly wanted a baby.

"Are you ready for something like that?" Boone was serious as he held a fork full of waffle with syrup dripping.

Alfie didn't know if he was pouting or not. It was a lot to think about. "She sure has me in baby Boot Camp with Angel." He shrugged.
