restroom tales

Ellie looked everywhere for Nick at school. Nothing. There was just a dim reminder that she had to act like she never knew what Rex had told her about her sister. Especially, at home, even here. Ellie wondered if she'd ever be any good at keeping secrets.

There were fewer students in the halls these days. No seniors at school. They'd graduated.

Leia seemed to be in hiding too. At least Ellie hadn't been bombarded with the news about Nick. Still she wasn't sure how it would all turn out.

"They'll probably find that it was consensual, and he'll just get community service," Eric told Ellie at lunch who really wasn't in the mood for a very sloppy Joe. She just nodded. "Its not like they could put him on one of those perv list or anything. He's not that old."

Ellie cringed to think about Nick on some list like that.

"I just don't know why she'd do it." Ellie put down the bun with oozing meat and pushed her fingers through her hair. "I just don't get it."

"She hates him." Cory shrugged. "That's why girls scare me so much." He laughed stealing one of her fries.

"I don't know if I could possibly ever be around her again." Ellie told them. Of course she noticed Eric looking back at Leia in the lunch line. There she was.

Ellie looked away. School would be over in a couple of days. She didn't want detention, again. But looking at Leia made her sick to her stomach. She pushed her tray away and crossed her arms.

"You're OK , aren't you?" Cory asked.

Ellie nodded and excused herself to the restroom. She really didn't have to go, other than wash the fumes of the sloppy Joe off her hands. Afterwards she splashed warm water on her face at the sink of the girls restroom.

She was just finishing up, when Roxie strolled in.

"I believe I will create a masterpiece now," she taunted.

"What? are you talking about, poo?" Ellie remarked back.

Roxie sighed and took out her black Sharpie. "No, its time to make some history on the bathroom wall." She shook her hair about as if this might include a dance off number too.

"I always thought it was you." Ellie nodded.

"I guess you've been hurt that nothing was ever left about you until now." Roxie gave her a dead stare.

"Terribly." Ellie stared back.

"Then get ready." She smiled. "Cause, this one is going to have threesomes and lots of blow jobs."

"I think I can handle that." Ellie nodded. "Hmmm, let me think here. You and Roger. Yeah, in the park, before school. I could ask around. Maybe I could get pictures. You never do eat lunch do you? I'm wondering what you're doing in all those cars I see you in, with boys? Maybe I should ask at the office."

Roxie wasn't smiling now. She backed away.

"Haven't we had enough drama this week with Leia? Do we really need anymore?" Ellie got in her face then and snatched the Sharpie away from her. She was so ready for a girl fight with Roxie, but she didn't. She walked out of the restroom with Roxie's marker.

She walked over, and looped her arms around Cory and Eric's arms. "If we're lucky, we might be infamous by next year." She smiled at both of them, and they walked away as if maybe they really were a threesome.
