totally awesome

The sound effects of Grand Theft Auto were really driving Ellie mad, but she wasn't going to tell Kyle this who insisted she needed to hear the classic rock soundtrack while he played the bloody game.

The phone rang. Ellie answered. It was Rex. He wanted to ask her more about the movie. Ellie went into the kitchen. She had to think of something. She thought of a thousand reasons how this was just not a good time for her tomorrow. Homework. Her mom might be coming home. Her dad needed her to help with his vegetable garden. Anything. Anything, but a movie with Rex.

"I have this friend who would love to see Forgetting Sarah Marshall." She said wondering where in the world she was going with this.

"Is that the movie you want to see?" He asked.

"Yes." She was almost laughing at the thought that Rex wouldn't go for that.

"Ask your friend to come along."

"What?" She was almost in a sweat thinking about it. Rex, her and Kyle. "Really? That would be awesome." She never said the word awesome, but this was definitely awesome worthy.

"Sure."

"OK." This was going to be fun. Possibly exciting. She hoped. Ellie felt goosebumps creep around her arms when she thought about it.

After she hung up she ran into the livingroom and turned off the TV.

"What the hell?" Kyle looked at Ellie as if she'd lost it.

"I have something to tell you." She stood there as if she might turn a flip instead.

"This better be good."

"We're going to Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Tonight."

"What?" He kind of laughed.

"I know." She felt like jumping, but she came over and fell in his lap instead. Any other time, she thought she might crush him, but he could take it at the moment. "There is one little catch."

"How little is it?" He was taking her hair out of her braid and unraveling it.

"Its sort of date with someone, but you are going. You really are."

"Well, I guess I have to be thankful for something." He squinted. "Were you going tell me about this?"

"I am. Right now." She sighed. "You see, he, Rex, use to date my sister and he kind of asked me out, other day."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Just listen to me." She was playing with the light hairs on his fore arm. At least the scars were gone. "I was going to get out of it. I would have gotten out of it. I would have."

"But you didn't." He said.

"Well, you are going."

"Right, but I don't look seventeen," he said.

"And I do?" She stared back at him.

"Well, you look older than me," he said.

"Thanks a lot." She sighed with her arm around him. "Just shut up about it." And then she kissed him.

  2. Your welcome, for reading. I enjoy it. And yeah, I have probably sixty records. Which probably isn't that big...but whatever. Do you base characters off real people?

  8. I have a question ... are these REAL people...?

And thank you for all the lovely comments on my blog, greatly appreciated.

Ooh, I have a question ... Could you do my survey for my media class...? It's only 9 questions long, very short, would only take 3 minutes of your time at the very most. Here's the link: The Survey

    I would greatly appreciate it.

    Anyway, lovely blog.
    Keep at it!
    =)
