Dear Diary,
I have new friends. I guess. I certainly don't have my old ones. Leia. To be specific.
I mean, I've come to realise I might know more people at school if it wasn't for her.
She was really bitter today. She yelled at me in the hall, how it was all my fault that I had messed up with my date with Rex. Since she and Nick weren't a part of it. Go figure.
Anyway, at least she's with Roxie, and I get the feeling she might be on the outs with Nick. Why am I smiling about this?
I ate lunch with Eric and Cory. It was really nice. Actually. We talked about music, TV, even books. It was so good. Not anything like with Leia who was always me, me, me.
Maybe Eric and Cory were just trying to cheer me up. Hard to say. But its possible.
Then after school, Nick shows up in his pickup and takes all of us to the DQ for ice cream. I wasn't expecting that. And no mention of Rex at all. It was crazy. I was so relaxed and happy. I don't know what's happening to me. Just hanging out with the guys. Really, its a first.
Later,
L

I actually don't buy that much international stuff. I just lust over it...usually. Every once in a while I will buy something, but it's so expensive!
ReplyDeleteboys r girls best friends... :)
ReplyDeleteFrom someone who recently left high school (and all the drama associated with it), don't let Leia get you down. Friends are important, but having the "right friends" is crucial... (if you know what I mean?).
ReplyDeleteAnd guys often make better friends! Less preoccupied with themselves (usually), less judgemental (again, usually).
