babysitting days

Dear Diary,

I should be used to this by now. Now getting to see Eric, but only like for an hour or so. I know, cherish those moments. And I do.

I have to admit I like babysitting more than I thought I would. Jasmine and Kayla can practically take care of themselves while Nico is a handful. He saw me with Cory, and he thinks he should be my boyfriend. I told him I had a boyfriend. I think its the fact that somehow Nico relates to Cory since he looks more like him (multi-racial). Actually, I think Nico would just like to hang out with Cory. Nico doesn't have much of a choice to get to hang out with guys since he's the man of the house and he's only six. Occasionally, Kyle will come over and they'll go do something together. Hopefully, though, some day soon Kyle will get Cory to come along, and I know Nico would like that.

Other than that he should be a journalist when he grows up. He asks so many questions. Like, where do you and your boyfriend go on dates? Does he kiss you before your date or after your date? What do you watch on TV when your boyfriend comes over? It just goes on and on.

Thankfully, there have been no fights with the girls since I've been babysitting. I think they're growing up. Jasmine is in sixth grade and should probably be doing the babysitting, but I guess I'm glad I can do it. At least its a little money in my pocket.

Really, it hasn't been so bad the last couple of weeks with being grounded. I'm just ready for it to be over. I'm ready to get back to things being normal. But what is that anymore?
