"What have you done now?" Finally, she and Eric had the couch alone with the TV on, and he just couldn't resist as he put his arm around her and pulled her dark hair behind her ear to get a good look at her.

"Nothing," her laughed ached. "Really, it was just something stupid, but it was nothing."

"What did you do?"

"OK, " She couldn't hold this little secret of Cory's any longer. "Cory told me he kissed Roger."

"Really?"

"Yeah, I don't even know when, but its like Roger is in hiding now and Cory is depressed. Maybe they both are." She told him.

"But, I think you still aren't telling me everything."

"Pretty much, only I almost asked Nick if he'd ask out either one of them for Homecoming."

"You what? Why did you do that?"

"I dunno." Ellie rolled her eyes, "I hadn't meant to. I was asking if he talked to Roger. I just don't know why, even. Everything is just strange, lately. I did get Leia to ask Cory if he could drive her to see Dylan."

"That should be good," Eric smiled.

"Really?"

"I wonder what Cory will think of Dylan?"

Ellie smiled, leaning in. They really didn't have to dwell on this. She gave him a little pucker. Maybe they could get in a good ten minutes of a makeout workout before anyone got home.
