Ellie was ever so glad to be home. Finally. It felt like days at Elliot's' instead of the hours that went by so slowly. She had a feeling he'd wanted a different outcome, but she kept asking questions. And he loved to take the time to discuss them. You would have thought he was brilliant, or would be. She wasn't so sure she thought that, anymore.

Slowly, she was beginning to figure him out. He was hot stuff. He was in college. He just assumed everybody wanted him. Even her. Well, he didn't come out and say it. Really, he didn't try anything. Almost.

There was the lean in, here and there as if she were supposed to oblige him with a kiss or a touch or something. But she didn't. She just acted a tad stupid and would point to something. Then she would say, "Did you make this?" Thank God, he got bored.

She was hungry. So tired. And she really wanted to call Eric and tell him everything, but Kyle met her on the stairway. He was giving her a disgruntled look, but nothing more. So she gave him a bit of a huff and went to her room. Only he was right behind her. Slammed the door shut and grabbed her wrist so fast- he had her arm jerked around her back.

"Why does it always have to be about you." He growled.

"Ow." His arm wrestle hurt slightly, but she could slip out of it. Just given a second, but he pulled tighter. His face so close. He meant business.

"What is wrong with you? I already said Amanda was OK, didn't I?"

"Its not about Amanda."

"Let me go!" He did, pushing her away.

Ellie turned and shook her wrist, her arms, her shoulders. She was sore.

"Kyle, you have to stop being in everyone's business, don't you know that!" Ellie cringed.

"You don't know what you did to Eric, do you!"

"Eric?" Ellie scowled more.

"He knows." Kyle looked at her hard ready to give her a shove.

"Knows what?" Ellie was bitter. And she wished she hadn't said it because Kyle slapped her.

"Don't play that game with me," Kyle informed her. She slapped him right back. Hard as she could.

He backed away then. She felt the burn on her cheek more as she just winced at him.

"You know, how you went on and on about how you can't fall in love with the first person you have sex with. What about Amanda? What about that? Were you not her first?" She shot back. She didn't even know if it had even happened. Chances were it had. She knew he liked to move on things if given half a chance.

Kyle just smirked.

"You believed that shit, didn't you?" He shrugged as if he was right and she was wrong.

Ellie was so pissed now, seething with anger. Her fist clinched so did her face.

"I just said that to give you the benefit of the doubt so you wouldn't feel so bad about yourself." He nodded.

She couldn't say anything to that. Doubting it was true. Confusing to say the least.

"But I don't know why I try when you just go off with this dude who's all but one of the beautiful people, naturally. You wouldn't have anyone less, now would you? And Eric is..is, you might as well have stabbed him in the heart," Kyle winced. " I don't know if he could ever stop being this way now. He's just so depressed. It awful. Its all awful because of you, Ellie! You make everything awful!" He shoved her then.

Ellie sucked in a breath and pushed back.
