Kyle had no idea it would be this way. His heart still thumping. His sweat. Her sweat. Mingling.

"And how are you," he said so gingerly.

"Whats wrong?"

"I found this spider in my room." He lied.

"Just now?"

"Yeah, it could have got me. It almost did. It was horrible." His eyes lit, but he wasn't thinking of a spider. Just Ellie. Unfortunately. He listened to his heart. Really, he was sore all over. "Listen, what I was really calling about, I haven't done any Christmas shopping yet."
