She met Eric through Steve at poetry slam. Unfortunately, Eric couldn't quite make out what she was saying to him due to a speech problem she's had due to a cracked clef palate that grew back together. But they forged a bond through texting and the Internet. Eric found himself falling in love with her words. Finally, they started dating and it looked like life out of high school would have been bright for them, but they soon went their separate ways after awhile. After surviving their first two semesters of college. Eric went to Europe and Olivia lived with her great Aunt and worked at center at the university with kids who are deaf.
All the while she remained friends with Roger, but wanted something more. She wasn't exactly looking to start anything with him, but things have changed. She's more than a roommate with Roger now.
