two?" Roger felt someone was invading his territory, and he wasn't sure how to react about that. But Ravi was hanging out, an awful lot, with Olivia.
"What are you talking about?" Olivia winced as if he was the mysterious one, not her.
"See, I've put you in a bad mood, already." Roger was doing what he was suppose to be doing. Work. Classes. The whole bit. He was busy. He didn't have all the time in the world to spend with Olivia. And then suddenly, she started sleeping somewhere else. Not with him. Funny, she wasn't on the couch, either. It just donned on him. But he didn't want to jump to the conclusion that something might be happening. No, no..she was sick. And wasn't she over that, yet?
"Here, I made you something." She found the gray cap on the couch and tossed it to him.
"For me?" He smiled then. Maybe she hadn't totally forgot about him. "Are you feeling, OK?" He stared at her.
"Better." Which meant, she wasn't quite ready to move back in their room.
"Then, then lets go out. Go to a movie or something." They hadn't done anything this winter, but stay in. It seemed. Liz was gone. Life should be perfect. Why wasn't it?
"I don't care." She gave him that ominous look. He had to wonder if she'd be jumping up and down if Ravi had asked her. There was something peculiar here. And he hated to see her slipping away from him.
"You still think I'm the one who's making you sick?" He crossed his arms then.
"I-" She shook her head, as if she didn't want to go there.
Roger just couldn't stand there and get upset, but he was. He was so upset. He just couldn't let her know. He climbed the stairs then and went up to their room. She didn't follow. He got out his cell then and called Nick.
He sat down on the bed then.
"I dunno what to do." He told Nick. "I dunno how much longer Olivia and I are gonna be together. I just get this sick feeling I've already lost her." He stared at his snowy shoes then. Knowing, she'd be pissed about that too.
