just bliss

Lon took off the whole day to be with Ellie for her doctor's appointment. He was so excited. All he wanted to do was cuddle. But there were other things to go through. Paperwork and of course, the sonogram. But still it was as if the 4th had already started as far as he was concerned.

"Do you know how long I've waited for this?" He told her as they were waiting for the sonogram to happen.

"It couldn't be that long." She laughed.

"I knew the moment I met you I wanted to have kids with you." He smiled. "Its like you really made me wake up. About everything. And, look at us now? We're having a baby."

Of course, he could sense she was worried. Ellie hadn't even told her mother yet. Of course, Lon expected she'd know by now. After all, Roger knew before he did. He still felt a bit hurt that she hadn't told him first, but he wouldn't dwell on it. He had to let it go.

Naturally, Ellie didn't really seem happy until they actually saw the baby on the screen and everything checked out healthy. The due date was official now. December.

"I wonder when it exactly happened." Lon started thinking. Ellie was about to slug him. "Oh." He looked at the technician then.

"So would we like to know what we're having?" She asked.

Lon looked at Ellie. "Yes?"  Ellie nodded. They both looked at the screen. They were going to have a baby girl. Lon grinned. He was in shock. "Maybe you'll want to call your Mom now." He got out his cell and made the call. He didn't care what her mother said. He had to share the news with someone.

Martin actually is a writer, but he more of an actor. Party Down was on Starz but the first season is on DVD, as for the final second season, who knows.
