Elliot got Derrick in on the jamming session. He took to the bass soon enough. They stayed in the garage for hours.
"You guys are going to make our neighbors hate us." Amanda informed them after the second hour. Granted it was the middle of the afternoon, but they couldn't keep this up.
"I play in my room all the time." Derrick reminded her. Elliot had heard stories from Amanda how her little brother was constantly making music at home. How he'd taken over the livingroom and most of the house with all his music stuff.
"Do you know anyone who has a keyboard?" Derrick ignored Amanda, completely.
"Doesn't Kyle have one?" Elliot looked at Amanda. He wanted to be on her side, but he wanted to play just as much as Derrick. It was as if this was time to catch up. It was so addictive. The need to be in a band, he guessed.
"How should I know?" She threw her hands up and went back to the kitchen. After all, they were having everyone over for the 4th. She was making salads and brownies. At least they were out of her hair. She could have the kitchen all to herself.
Elliot reached for his cell then and told Kyle their situation. They were having a party tomorrow and did he want to help out with the music. It was the 4th, and they were going to play some music even if it was in the garage.
