just to accept

"I don't think she's mean." Olivia told Ravi later. After they took his sister out to dinner. "She's on her way to Denver. I think she just wanted to see family."

His sister had met someone on the internet and she was moving to Denver to be with him.

Of course, she told Olivia how lame that sounded. But they really did meet on the internet and became really good friends. He'd been out a couple of times to see her, and she'd finally decided to move out to Denver to be with him. He was in to landscaping. Ravi smirked at that. Olivia almost kicked him once under the table at dinner to keep him from laughing.

"What is wrong with you?" Olivia couldn't help but laugh now. "Its not always about you. She's worried about your dad."

"I know. What am I suppose to do?" He sat there on the bed with her.

"We have to visit your sister." Olivia shrugged.

"We do." He looked at her blankly.

"Yeah, we do." She smiled. "And your parents. We have to see them more often. It didn't really hurt so much last time, did it?"

"But if my Mom says something like thank god you're here, we thought he was gay...I might not want to come back." Ravi shook his head, no.

"When has your Mom said that? She was very quiet around me." Olivia winced.

"That's because she figured it was a one shot deal." Olivia shrugged.

"We'll just have to show her it wasn't. And I promise I'll looked surprised when she says that." She laughed then and poked Ravi in the chest with her finger. They played around a bit. Like kids, but Olivia remembered somebody thought they were very grownup.
