talk about it

"OH COME ON!" Derrick stomped around in his little room. "ARE YOU SERIOUS!" He felt like slamming the door, but it might have to be fixed. He stared at Amanda as if she were absolutely crazy.

"You couldn't decide! Could you!" Derrick was beginning to think he lived in a polygamist colony.

"I thought you'd be happy." Amanda looked at him puzzled. "You get the basement."

"Fine." Derrick swelled a frown. He'd just gotten used to this room. And now, he was getting his room back. "You sure, Elliot wants this room?"

"That's what he said." Derrick felt his eyes water. He couldn't help but feel sad for Elliot. "You wouldn't even try..would you?"

"Derrick. Shut up." She walked away then.

He sat down on his bed. He didn't know who's side to be on. It was all so confusing. And then she had to be mad at him because he had sex with Ian. He pulled out his cell and called him now. "Can you come over?"

"You don't sound so good." Ian told him.

"Well, my sister is making me move back to the basement." He sniffed.

"Why are you crying? I thought you'd be happy," Ian said.

"I dunno. Its just crazy. Its crazy here." Derrick sniffed more.

"Its not that crazy." Ian told him.

"I guess not. I dunno. I just got settled." He sighed.

"What is it?" Ian asked.

"You'll think I'm weird." Derrick finally admitted.

"I already do." Ian's voice was sweet. Derrick couldn't help but find it endearing and trusting.

"This is the room, you know. You and Me. Together." There was a silence.

"God, you know there's so much more room in that bed in the basement." Ian told him. Derrick could feel Ian's smile already. It wasn't the end. Just the beginning.

"I'll be over in a few minutes." Ian then promised.

Derrick looked around the room once more. Honestly, he thought they should at least find a new bed for Elliot.

  5. Ehh it was around $350 and for two tickets in one of the best arenas in the U.S. with good seats for a popular band? That's a great deal.
