its a chore
As it was Roger had given everyone the silent treatment since he got back from his mother's. But Ravi needed to know. Perhaps they needed to move out..
Roger just looked at him as if he didn't know. He walked away from him.
"Nice one, Roger." Ravi fumed. "You don't have any friends, really. Just us, and you won't even give me the time of day. Dunno, why we stay. If Olivia didn't feel sorry for you, we wouldn't be here!"
Roger started to say something, but then he didn't. He went to hide in his room.
"What's the matter with him?" Ravi found Olivia in the kitchen making tuna salad.
"What do you think?" Olivia winced. "He knows how we feel. Believe me, he does." She made Ravi a sandwich then.
"What are we suppose to do? Give him more money, so we can live here?" He stared at Olivia, as he'd had enough, as anyone else with Roger.
"I'll talk to him." She shrugged as she made herself a sandwich on rye, too.
"Yeah, do that. I don't think you'll get, anywhere with him, either." He was certain of it. "Maybe, we should just go." Ravi really wanted to, but he didn't see Olivia budging. She cared about Roger. Ravi understood that. He didn't know why.
"We'll just interview some people. I'll put something up, online at the University. Maybe some flyers at the Student center. We'll get room-mates, OK." She would take over if she had too.
Ravi shook his head. He wasn't sure he even wanted new roommates.
