its not all bad

Lola was dreaming again. Crosby in a swim suit. It was a sigh of happiness. Only thing, she hated being seen in a swim suit.

"You, do have a bikini, don't you?" Daisy asked. Of course, with Daisy's thin body, she looked as if she could live in one without any worries.

"No." Lola knew they were suppose to go swimming. It would be kind of a date. A day out at the water park.

She cringed at the thought. Her mother had a black one piece. It was actually a swim dress.

"You can't actually fit in that." Daisy snarled her nose up to that.

Lola gave her friend a peculiar look. Would it look too tight?

"This is gonna swallow you." Daisy tossed it on the floor and went to look in her dresser to find a skimpy pink strapless swim suit.

"You've got enough to hold this up." Daisy grinned.

"I do?" Lola didn't wear things like this. She cringed, again.

"Oh, come on. At least, try it." Daisy scooted her toward the bathroom. Lola pouted. She'd have to take off her loose tunic and cutoffs that hugged most of her thighs. A few moments later she appeared in the bathroom doorway. It was so tight. So form fitting.

"I LOVE IT!" It met Daisy's approval, but not Lola's.

"I dunno." Lola wasn't quite happy as she hugged herself.

"Oh, come on. You're really adorable in it." Daisy told her.

Lola took a glimpse of her pale self in the mirror. She wasn't sure she was seeing who she was. Actually. Things were so different now.

Crosby did make her feel sexy.

He was always saying something amazing about that horrid mural she was working on. No one seemed to know what it should really be about. The teacher who was suppose to be helping her, wasn't. Yet, Crosby always made her feel she was a real artist.

This was no time to let him down. She tried to smile. She had too.

Yes, this was going to be a fun day at the water park. She needed to stay confident. But she slipped her white tunic over her head. She didn't want to over do it.
