Thinking alike

Henry couldn't think of a better holiday with Shan's parents away. He was unbelievably happy. Especially, to be with Shan.

Of course, Shan was too shy to do anything in Henry's room on Thanksgiving. Naturally, Henry did have fun perhaps teasing him a bit. And Shan wasn't exactly complaining about the make-out moments, either. They'd sneaked out quietly after midnight to spend some very "Home Alone" time over at Shan's.

However, Shan's room was a different story.

"When is the last time you've actually washed your sheets?" Henry wanted to know, but that was later, not when they got there. No, he'd been quite fond of the moment and everything that followed. But his room was a mess. Henry couldn't help but want to fuss with it.

"It'll be ready, when we come home tonight, after the concert." Henry told him after he put the bedding in the wash and vacuumed.

If that was not enough, there were the outfits to find for the concert. Shan wasn't interested in wearing anything particular.

"Why bother, we'll just get hot and sweaty, anyway." Shan shrugged. "Just what would you wear? No way would I ever wear leather pants."

"Who said, anything about wearing leather?" Henry just laughed as he looked through Shan's closet. He had some really nice jeans he never wore. "I've never seen you wear any of these plaid hoodies?"

"Yeah, about that." Shan rolled his eyes. His step-mom bought them at Target in a variety of prints. "You want them?"

"No, you should at least try to wear them." Henry didn't want to make Shan over, "You should change it up a little." Shan usually wore black or his black suit from the movie theater.

"Ain't no way, I'm wearing red plaid. I'll look like Christmas," He smirked.

"Then I will." He loved the red plaid. He held up a darker one with a hint of gray plaid. "You can try this one."

Shan's glare said NO.

"Please." Henry was jumping at the idea that they should at least look as if they were together.

"OK." He finally gave in.

"I could really have you in an argyle sweater you know, and a bow tie." Henry smirked back.

"Don't even think it." He sort of winked.

"But I do. I really do." Henry kept smiling.

Shan shook his head, but he couldn't help but smile. Henry grabbed both his hands. Before he knew it, Shan was wrapped around him, and they were on his bed.

"I really hate a made bed. Don't even get me started on fresh sheets." He whispered in Henry's ear.

Obviously, Shan didn't have the concert even on his radar.
