girls..girls..girls

OK, it was an unnerving glitch with Evy.

Yes, Zac might not ever really live it down. Saying, Syreeta's name like that ...after a very slow kiss that could have gone somewhere with Evy, but it didn't. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise. At least, Zac thought so at the moment.

Just when he thought he would never have another date and be sent to his room for good. The next weekend got better. Thank God, they played at that local open mic show. Yes, he'd met Kera, Julie and Mati.

And he went out with each one of them. Honestly, he didn't plan on it. But before he knew it, he was juggling three dates a week. He wasn't so sure he could keep this up by the time school started.

Kera, he took out to a dinner and movie. Julie loved the club scene and Mati was rather organic, wanting to go to the farmer's market. None of them were anything like Syreeta.

He couldn't say he liked one better than the other. Maybe he didn't like any of them. Yet, maybe he'd learned his lesson. Not to really be serious about any of them. It was going out. He wasn't staying in. He was learning to just go with the flow.

Maybe, he'd see a sign one day. He did his best not to think about Syreeta who looked so happy with Sawyer. He wanted that kind of happiness. And to think he knew it once, but he didn't appreciated it.

  1. I feel bad for him, but, it might be better for him to keep dating if it helps him get over Syreeta and also, who knows, maybe he will meet the perfect girl for him?
