"If you do this," Luna informed Holden. "You, better be prepared."
She was giving some last minute touches to her braided hair at the foyer mirror. Zac and Sawyer would be here any minute with Angie for their concert date.
"Be prepared for what?" Holden sneered as if Luna was being so ridiculous.
"Roses. Get her a dozen roses." Luna told him with great importance. "A ballerina invited you to see her perform." How much more clear should she get?
"Well.." He begin to sputter.
"If you want to make a good impression, you get her red roses." Luna explained.
"I can't do that." Holden looked horrified at the idea of actually being the best date ever.
"OK, go back and slum with..God knows what?" Luna made a face of disgust. She had no idea what he was doing with his life, but she had a pretty good idea he was up to no good. She put both fist on her waist, ready to give him a piece of her mind, but the door bell rang so she pinched him on the arm.
"Ow." He wasn't even hurt even if he acted like he was.
Luna answered the door and there was Zac, decked out in the outfit she chose for him. Sawyer looked really sweet with Angie even if they weren't in matching outfits. Angie wore a pink hoodie with her dark skinny jeans and pink Chuck Taylors.
Perhaps, Luna and Zac were over dressed. He was in a suit and fedora, and she was wearing her highest heels she owned and a short glittery strapless gown.
It wasn't just everyday they went to see Imagine Dragons.
