Lost in translation

Lost in Translation

"You're getting way ahead of yourself." Leo finally pointed out. He'd been listening to Henry for the last hour about Vada, being with Dean.

"What if she's pregnant?" Henry decided that would be the worst case scenario.

"What if she's not?" Leo reminded him that maybe they used protection, or it just might not be, after one time.

"But it could." Henry was certain as he shook his head. "Why didn't I know who was out there? I heard the car door."

"Well, you could have been too late, anyway. " Leo winced. He hoped Henry wasn't drinking too much coffee. When he did, he got jittery and when he got jittery it worried him that a seizure might be coming on, but Leo wouldn't bring it up. "Look, the point is, she's human. She's just a girl. She isn't a saint. And you  have to wait it out. And if she needs you..then she'll come to you."

Henry didn't look as if he liked his answer.

Leo looked the menu over. At least, no one they knew was at the diner. Henry could rant all he wanted  about Dean. It was as if he hated him. Leo knew who's side Henry was on.

"I can't believe..she'd just DO SOMETHING like this." Henry gritted.

Leo only laughed, ever so softly.

"What?" Henry squinted as if Leo better spill.

"As I recall, you've done a few things too, that no one ever thought you'd do." Leo almost winked.

Henry hushed up and hugged himself.

Leo asked him if he wanted his usual, the Ruben sandwich and an order of home fries. Henry gave him a nod and Leo ordered for him.
