tell me about it

tell me about it

Dorian hated to bring it up, but then he wasn't one to keep anything from Ruben. However, his suspensions were right from the get go about Leo.

"He's trans." He winced hard trying to get this right. "She's trans."

"What?" Ruben festered a look as he tossed more pillows from the bed into a mound in the corner They were getting ready for bed.

"Trans." Dorian stated.

Ruben went on to pull back the comforter and the sheet and set down on the bed to take off his fuzzy winter slippers.

"Not that..that there is anything wrong with that." Dorian then said as he plopped next to him. Their bare arms touched.

"I don't even know what you're talking about." Ruben looked over at him as if maybe it was a new language he didn't want to try to learn.

"Leo. Garvin's date. She's..trans."

"Huh."

"Look, I wasn't being nosy, but..I just noticed." Dorian hoped Ruben wouldn't be rude about this. God knows, Dorian didn't say anything. "I..I was in the bedroom and well, I heard someone in the bathroom..and well, you know..." He cleared his throat. Couldn't Ruben figure it out?

"Huh." He just said.

"Look, we have to be supportive. If..if Garvin's girlfriend..is.."

"OK." Ruben squinted. "We will. Of course, we'll be supportive." He kissed Dorian as if he didn't want to hear another word about it. Still, Dorian had no idea about Garvin. This was like seeing a whole new side of Ruben's brother.

  1. People shouldn't jump to conclusions or judge others... Garvin needs love and support and besides he isn't dating Leo... yet ;)
