"Where were you!' Ben couldn't believe Taylor could do this to him. He'd been a nervous wreck. He didn't think he slept at all, but of course, he might have. There was drool on the couch pillow.
"Just at Sara's." He made it sound like it wasn't a big deal.
"Did you sleep with her?" Ben glared at him with his arms crossed. Of course, the livingroom was pretty much a pigsty. He'd finished off the potato chips, Oreo cookies and a gallon of milk. The empty remains were on the coffee table.
"Not..exactly." Taylor looked at the mess and grabbed the trash to get started, on cleaning up the mess.
"Well..either you did or you didn't?" Ben stared at him as if Taylor had a lot of explaining to do.
"You could have called Mae." Taylor told him that she would have came over or maybe he could have spent the night on her couch if he was that scared.
Ben shook his head, no. "She's mad at me. She doesn't want to talk to me." He did look rather grim about the matter. "I dunno what I did..but I did something." Hot tears surfaced. He was in a mess again, as he plopped down on the couch. His throat was raw. Maybe it was only a cold.
"Hey, buddy..it couldn't be that bad." Taylor sighed and put down the trash can. He went to console Ben by rubbing his shoulders.
"I dunno what I did, but I did something wrong. I think she's..she's leaving." He coughed tears. Taylor hugged him and let Ben practically snort on his hoodie.
"You, smell like an onion." Ben looked at him in distaste.
"We went to King Kong Burger." Taylor told him about there day at the zoo with Lily.
Ben sighed and looked at the mess he'd made on Taylor's shirt.
"Could..could..you just talk to her?" Ben kept even lipped.
"Sure, of course." Taylor nodded with a sigh. "But, you get this place cleaned up." Taylor gave him the eye. Ben needed to do his part of keeping up the place.
Ben only nodded.
