What to do

what to do

Joey was exhausted. He'd done his best to clean up this pig sty of his, and there were all of Becca's things.

At least six hefty boxes. It was mind boggling. He had no idea that the blender was actually hers. Of course, she was the only one who used it for cocktails, or something like that.

"Well, what do I do with it?" Joey was trying to make a clean start for the new year, but he didn't want to be here. No, he'd much rather be over at Xander's humble abode.

"Do you know where she is?" Xander looked to be in deep thought about this.

"I dunno. Her grandmother's." Joey just wanted to crash, but not here. "Aren't you hungry or something?"

"Not really." Xander was still thinking about those boxes, but then he looked at him. "You, want to go to Daisy's?"

"Huh?" For a second Joey thought Xander was seeing someone. He would be the first to know, wouldn't he?

"It's a diner." Xander finally explained. "Maybe, we could load this up in my truck and take it to the post office."

Joey looked at him, almost cross-eyed. "It can wait." His stomach grumbled. "What kind of food, can you get there?" Joey winced.

"American." Xander shrugged.

Joey had never heard anyone say that before, but he turned off the light to his place and followed Xander out to the icy parking lot. He shivered so as if a sick poison, finally found him. No, it was just winter.
