"Where's Henry?" Xander asked when he saw Josie carrying groceries into her apartment.
"A sleep study." She looked a little tired. He took the groceries from her.
"But..." Xander wasn't sure he should ask. "Is he OK?"
"I dunno. He's ..just so restless." She told Xander that she thought Henry was lying to her. "About the seizures." She then added, while she unloaded loads of yogurt in the fridge.
"What did he say?" Xander felt as if he could get some answers here. He wasn't at his Dad's.
"I didn't tell him, what I thought." She shrugged.
"Why didn't you?" Xander wanted to know while he put the cereal away.
"I dunno. I just..don't want to make it worse, I guess." She sighed, as if all she really wanted to do was curl up on the couch with the boomerang pillow, that started out to be Henry's, but was now her's.
"Are you going be OK?" He offered to make her something, even tea.
"I'm not really hungry. I feel..I dunno..just blah.. I guess." She swelled a frown.
"Why don't you call your, Mom?" Xander knew she lived nearby.
"No." She yelped. Xander wasn't sure, it might have been a cry. Now she held her stomach. Her eyes were tight shut.
Xander thought he might have a heart failure.
He looked at the time, it was getting dark. He rounded up her coat and bag. They were going to the hospital.
