where do we start

Getting Irma and Jung settled in was a piece of cake, Rowdy thought now.

They didn't have much to bring with them. In all honesty, they were glad to be together. Irma didn't see a need for them to change a thing in Shan's old room.

Of course, the walls were bare. Shan took all his THE CLASH posters down so long ago. But he knew Fish liked modern art, that he'd put up, perhaps for a short time.  Irma didn't even care if the sheets were gray. She was the congenial sort and Jung just smiled.

But moving JoJo in, well that was entirely different.

For starters, she slept on a mat in her bedroom.

"I just don't understand. You, don't sleep on a bed?" As refine and regal as she was, he'd never thought of her being so poor.

"Reminds me of home." She just said. She wasn't from any elite family. Of course, she'd had a real bedroom with a bed when she was married, but once she got to the states and she was on her own. "I always meant too, I just got busy."

She shook her head, as if she'd still get to it, sooner or later.

"Well, you..and I." Suddenly, he felt like some awkward teenager, around her. They hadn't really slept together. Oh, there was that time when they went to visit Shan and Fish, but that was a hotel room. They had separate beds, back then.

Of course, he had a California King sized bed. No way, could they find each other in that bed, unless..they wanted too.

He wasn't so sure if this was the best time to consummate their relationship. Where would the romance be?

"If you want, I could give you, my room." Naturally, he couldn't think to why he said it. No way, did he want to sleep on the couch and hurt his bad back.

"Really, I wouldn't ask you to do that." Her smile was timid.

"Are you sure?" He didn't want to press, anything.

She nodded as she cleared out things in her pantry. She was getting canned goods ready for the food bank.

Rowdy sighed. He was sure of it now, Jung and Irma weren't going to have any problems with the sleeping arrangements, but he guessed he and JoJo would just have to make do. He hoped it worked out.
