Maybe it was a little lie. Honestly, Ellis didn't think he was capable of such a thing, but he didn't know if he wanted to see Callum, anymore.
"And..I dunno, I said I was bringing a date." He told Geo when they got to After party while they were still in Ellis' little economy car.
"A date?" Geo almost snapped.
"I know its not a date." Ellis wanted to be clear on that. "But..but just let him think, what ever he wants."
Geo was naturally in a pout.
"What is going?" Geo wanted to know. He didn't want to leave the car until he knew.
"Its really nothing." Ellis shook his head. Maybe he was a little sleepy, he wished he would have stayed home. Really, he wanted to forget the whole thing he'd seen with Callum and the entertainer, Kia.
Geo smiled as if he knew what was going on, and then he shook his head, no..as if he'd have nothing to do with it.
Ellis sighed, thinking it was useless to be here, but he wanted to show Callum that he had a right to be here like anyone else..and he didn't want this to be about jealousy. It would be for the best, to hopefully stay friends. After all, Cal was his employer.
"You, are a real piece of work, man." Geo acted as if Ellis was nothing like he thought he was.
Ellis only winced harder.
"OK, I saw my boss, kissing this guy-"
"What? You were just..I dunno..repulsed." Geo's eyes lit.
Ellis' frown was small, as he thought about it. He shook his head, no. "Surprised, maybe." He shook his head, and then scratched the back of his head.
"Well, it wasn't like a porno, was it?" Leave it Geo to want details to conjure up his own tale of it.
"Its just..I..I knew then..that..that would never be me." Ellis confessed he'd never kissed anyone.
"Did you want to kiss him?" Geo looked at Ellis as if he needed to know.
"No." Ellis said right away. "I just..wouldn't."
Geo, only nodded as if he could live with that answer.
"So, I'm suppose to be your date, huh?" Geo asked.
Ellis shrugged as if it wasn't the most important thing, but Geo looked at Ellis as if they better get their game on.
