can it be a vacation

"So, you're just going to quit?" Josie looked at Xander stunned when he said he wanted to stay home.

"I'm taking a break from school, and we think its for the best if..if I'm at home for both Sunny and Dakota." Xander looked happy about it. Maybe he was in over his head.

Josie nodded, as if she understood. She was on her way out of the grocery store while Xander was on his way in, but he was alone.

"I hope it works out." She guessed he would need time, and to have time for both Dakota and the teenager, coming to live with them. "I mean, you just got rid of Joey, you need a vacation." She told him.

"Oh, it'll be a vacation." He grinned. "I was afraid I might fail this semester." He sighed. His classes would be over in a couple of weeks. If he quit his medic job, it would give him time to study. "I try to see Sunny, everyday."

"I dunno how you do it." Josie winced a smile, of course, there went Ali's pacifer on the floor. Xander picked it up.

"I dunno how you did it." He told her. She only smiled back.

"Well, call me." She said as she started to leave. He nodded and went on with his shopping basket toward the produce.

Her Android went off. It was Henry.

"Guess what?" He said.

"I don't want to guess." She said back into the phone.

"We're going to Florida."

Josie sighed. She guessed she'd have to go back in and get sun screen and shades.
