Hansen was treading lightly. He knew things were too good to be true.
He liked being at Daisy's. But he wasn't exactly sure what he was doing with her. After all, he'd never really been this close to anyone before. It was little freaky.
Yes, he thought she was beautiful and funny and really smart, too. But it was awkward the first night with her.
Not that anything happened. It didn't. He slept with his clothes on. He always did. He never had pajamas. She didn't really ask him if he did. By the second night, she asked what he went to bed in.
"My clothes." He said ever so honestly. He might shuck down to his briefs if it were summer, but it would have to be really hot. It was the dead of winter. Besides, he wasn't all that comfortable about her seeing his body. It was pale and thin and pretty much boney.
"You're kidding me, right?" She almost laughed. She'd slept in her sweats the night before. They'd been on the couch watching the Christmas tree lights. He'd listened to her talk about her Christmases when she was little and after while they'd fallen asleep. He hadn't moved. It had been so nice.
Earlier, he'd said he better get back to his room. He hadn't meant to stay so long. Of course, she'd tugged on his belt loops of his old jeans and drew him in as if she couldn't bare to let him go. Then she kissed him. It was a pleasant surprise. He couldn't say no.
They'd made out like it might be the Olympic trials. Or maybe, he'd laid back and just let it happen. As if this was part of the Christmas after stuff. It was new to him. Sort of learning in process.
They were OK, as long she could kiss him, touch him. But when it came to him responding, he might as well be a dead fish in the water. She pushed him away. He sat there thinking what to do. Had he been rough? He didn't really think so.
He'd wanted to go, but somehow, she'd reel him back in. Wrap herself around him as if this was the start of something, after all. It was confusing.
Now he was asking Max questions.
"Is that too much information? Is it me? Is it?" He couldn't help but stare at Max for answers. "I'm not trying to be pushy. I just..I just don't know ..what she wants?" He gritted then.
"Obviously..." Max took his time before saying anything as he messed with the pepperoni pizza. "She wants you to stay. You have, haven't you?"
"Yeah, I just dunno ..if..if I should. I mean..we aren't having sex." Hansen took his stuff from his room and now was living at her place with her.
Hansen should talk it over with her - she'd understand. :/
