"She's staying with you?" Luc cornered Dorian after Jason and Heather left.

Dorian wasn't sure to smile or not. Evidently, he was never right with his best friend. Now Luc was making it sound that Dorian was going out of his way to impress his new friend Jason.

"First of all..." Dorian took a breath. It wasn't his intention for her to actually stay in his room. He thought he'd have a new housemate, but since she didn't have any money and she would possibly be leaving at the end of the week anyway..he'd opted for the more casual setting. "We're grown ups. And nothing is going on." Dorian winced. Wasn't like he had anyone waiting to come over. The bed was big enough for the both of them.

"You are nothing like the guy I know." Luc glared at him.

"What does that mean?" Dorian wasn't sure to laugh or cringe. "Look we both love Eli." Although, he was certain he was closer to Eli and after all, she was his sister. "I'm gay and I'm very sure she's not interested in anything physical with me."

"That's where you might be wrong." Luc informed him. "What if..something happens? Can you handle that? Can you honestly handle it, Dorian?"

Dorian rolled his eyes.

"Nothing will happen." Dorian was ready to swear on a bible if he had too.

"I thought you liked Jason." Luc informed him.

"Yeah, as a friend." Dorian fumed that Luc would decide this kind of thing with such certainty. Everything was so black and white with him. Evidently.

OK, so maybe a part of him did love Jason, but he loved him enough to want him to be happy. And he had to be happy with Heather.

So maybe he'd never have anything like that with anyone, Dorian could still find a solid friendship with Lena. After all, she needed a place to stay. He was sure she'd find something better. Probably by June.
