"We've been planning this for months." Hayley guessed she meant herself. "You, have to come. A real holiday. You and Ian, on your own. How great is that?" Of course, she wasn't going to leave Ian and Josie on their own that much. "Why don't you, want to come?"
Hayley listened more about Josie's friend in a coma. She understood. Maybe. But why did Josie have to feel so blue?
"Its not like you made him overdose, is it?" Hayley wanted Josie to get on with things. "You, need to travel the world. You, don't want to be stuck there. Forever."
Honestly, Hayley wanted to travel. With or without Jonah. There was also the Archie matter that concerned her. She needed to see what Josie thought of this Magz. Hayley didn't like her. Perhaps, Hayley wanted someone on her side. It was tough to know who her mates were, anymore.
Josie was still mellow. She reminded Hayley of her Mom's pregnancy. She needed to stay home.
"Fine, I'll see what Jama, is doing. You know, she's really good mates with my mum, and she remembers Ian, back when they were kiddies. She chatted him up, quite fondly, as I recall." Hayley would work her magic some way. She did feel closer to Josie than any of her school mates.
Hayley seems so confused right now - traveling would be the perfect way to clear her head! :)
ReplyDeleteHayley has a lot of growing up to do.
ReplyDeleteJust so juvenile. Will Hayley ever be the type to figure that out?
ReplyDeleteHayley seems a tad self-centered. Although it might be good for Josie to get out.
ReplyDeleteI hope Hayley will learn to be a better friend.
ReplyDeleteI don't like Hayley at the moment! She could be a little more sensitive to her friend :(
