"What?" This was the first Luc heard of it, Dorian moving out. Topher called him about it. "What the hell?"

He paced in their livingroom. Thankfully, he was home and not somewhere on the street when he got the call. He might have walked into traffic.

"You, gotta be kidding me?" He didn't believe it. Maybe Ruben got Dorian drunk. It had to be just a one nighter. But no, Dorian came and got his stuff.

"He hasn't been here for two weeks, but Lena's got his room, so you know, everything is good." Topher would say that. After all, it was the rent he cared about.

Luc was seething. Soon enough he clicked off his call from Topher and rang Dorian. Honestly, he was too upset to text him.

"What are you doing? Are you crazy!" Luc said first thing when Dorian said hello.

"I guess I am. According to you." Dorian's voice cracked as if he knew Luc thought the worst of him.

"Jesus, Dorian." Luc gritted as he raked his fingers through his messy hair. He kept staring at his old Chuck Taylors, trying to stay calm. What could he say? He hated Ruben because he thought Dorian hated Ruben. It was that simple. "What did he do to you?" Luc was thinking it must have been some crazy brain washing with drugs involved, for all he knew.

"Nothing. Really." Dorian wasn't clarifying much. "I was sick, and..and he was there for me."

"Oh, really?" Luc couldn't help but have a nasty laugh about it. "Do you really trust him?"

"I think I can, now." Dorian's words were quiet.

"What?" Luc asked. "Is he there listening to everything?"

Dorian didn''t say anything.

"Why don't you call me, anymore? You, could have called, when you were sick." Luc reminded him.

"You've, got Olivia." Dorian told him.

"Yeah, I know, but..but you're my best friend." Or was. Olivia had been his best friend for a long time now, but Dorian came next. He'd be there for him.

"So..so if..if we invited you guys over, would it happen?" Dorian wanted to know.

Luc sighed.

"OK. Yeah. Sure." But he dreaded it. He did. Still he was Dorian's friend, and he knew he better try to at least meet Dorian half way.
