Sara wished they wouldn't drink so much. Were they having a fight? Perhaps a bear hug fighting match?
She didn't know what they were doing. Was Taylor actually crying?
Naturally, no one was making dinner. Taylor said he'd get out the ground turkey, but she didn't find it in the fridge nor the kitchen counter.
"What are you two doing?" She couldn't even break them apart. No one was talking to her, so she direct dialed Sheena but got Minnie instead.
How did that happen? She had no reason to have Omaha's cousin's phone number in her phone.
"Oh, sorry, I ..I meant to call Sheena." This was all so freaky, thought Sara. Boys were crying and in a man hug of some kind and now getting a wrong number. It was like Friday the 13th, but it wasn't Friday.
"Is everything OK?" Minnie wanted to know.
"No..no its not. I have to make dinner." She was so tired. She'd found a cold biscuit from breakfast, still on the dining table. She bit into it. It was solid as a rock, but it was so good. She savored every bite of the biscuit. "And..and Taylor and Omaha are so..I dunno what's going on."
"I've got meat for tacos." Minnie said she could bring it over. Josh was home and he could come too.
"Josh?" Sara winced, not sure who that was, but the mention of food was all she needed to hear. "Sure, come on over."
Hopefully, Omaha and Taylor would be finished with this thing they were doing. It was really getting annoying.
I'm interested to see where all of this is going.
