"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?" It was the first thing that popped out of Ducky's mouth when he met up with his little brother at the campus coffee shop. He didn't know what had gotten in to Jamie. "You, are a medical student. You, don't even have a real job."

Jamie looked a little sad.

"How? How, did you even..I dunno." Ducky winced. "You, don't have that kind of money." As it was Jamie's car was nothing fancy. Still, he knew his Dad wouldn't want Jamie to do without, but not like this.

"I've..I've been saving." Evidently, his dad had been sending him money. Ducky was slightly jealous. His dad had never done anything like that for him, but that was beside the point. "You're an idiot." Of course, Ducky felt he might be the idiot, putting up with all of Jamie's wild ideas.

"If..if Effy and I split the cost, it won't be that much." Jamie was even lipped. Still, he thought this dream was possible.

"I see. Just how much is this going to cost me?" Ducky wanted to know.

"I won't..bother you." Jamie shook his head.

"Oh, but you will." Ducky was certain. "If only..you and mom could get along." Ducky was beginning to think all a family was for, was money problems. This was not the way he wanted to think. But there was Joey to worry about. It was just a matter of time before Corina moved in.

Yes, he was certain, everyone was having more fun in life, than he was. He couldn't even be alone with his husband.

"I'm sorry." Jamie shrugged as if maybe he knew he was in over his head.

"What happened to you?" Ducky shook his head with a little laugh. True, he didn't know his brother all that well, because of his parents.

Jamie was awful quiet.

"This will either make you, or break you." Ducky told him. "I don't have any money to give you."

Jamie was almost in a pout.

"If..if you have to do this. You guys..." He wouldn't make this easy on Jamie. "Friday night dinner. You two, can wash your clothes here, that night." He then told him he'd look to see if he could get him at the lab. Surely, he could work with blood.
