Jordan didn't mean to be happy. She knew she shouldn't be so happy, but life changed with Wade.
He seemed different too. He wasn't the lazy bum that his sister Lux spoke of.
"I just don't get it?" Lux was still baffled that Wade was living with Jordan.
Naturally, Lux checked it out while Jordan's dad was having some baby time with Jake.
"You're letting Wade stay in your room?"
Jordan nodded like an idiot. She was filled with laughter, thinking of Wade who didn't like clean sheets. Of course, she didn't want to share this inside joke with Lux.
"And you're with Will." Jordan smirked.
"No, I'm not." Lux hugged herself as she gave Jordan the evil eye. "He's just my roommate."
"That might not be forever, you know." Jordan was optimistic.
"This thing with my brother might not be forever, either." Lux looked at her sadly, as if she was using Wade to give up her dream to become the person she really wanted to be.
"Like they say, you just have to enjoy the journey." Now Jordan felt sad for Lux.
Jordan definitely wanted Lux to experience falling in love with someone who would rock her world. She knew Lux had been through a lot with Jake's father, and that couldn't have been love.
