delicate
Lux knew it wasn't her place, but she knew of Will's cousin Bree. Of course, she really never connected the two.
While she was in high school she heard all sorts of rumors about Bree, the wild child, who was the total opposite of Will.
"You and Torry are a lot alike," she tried to think of something positive to say.
"Lik twins?" Will sounded as if he'd heard that one before. She was afraid he would say next that was the reason why Bree was with Torry.
"No." She winced, although she'd thought they were long lost, brothers. "I mean, you're both so level headed." Lux did her best to smile but then wondered if she looked like an idiot.
Will softly chuckled.
"He must be glad you're here." Lux hadn't felt the need to pry into Torry's life. After all, he needed time to settle into his apartment.
"I think he's more impressed with your cooking." Will told her, "I don't guess that was one of Bree's finer points."
It was hard to think of Torry's girlfriend in a coma. But Lux guessed she had no place to go see her with Will and Torry. After all, there was baby Jake to deal with. He was becoming a little recorder. She had to watch her mouth because he could already say, "You, little shit." Just her luck that would be the only thing he would say if she did finally make it to see Bree at the nursing home with baby Jake in tow.
Just then a knock came to the door. Will went to open it, saying it was Torry but instead, it was Jordon showing off her baby bump.
