as the days go by

What in the world were they going to do? The brick and mortar place where Char & Diago worked was closing. Evidently, the mall was becoming a thing of the past. And Diago had to wonder if he'd ever see Char's smile again.

Diago still worked weekends where they had met at the assisted living place. "They always need help in the kitchen."

Naturally, Char gave that a grimace. She was certain she was destined to be a lunch lady for the rest of her life.

Diago hated to break it to her, but it didn't look like they could live in their apartment much longer. She was in a bad way. She wanted to stay in bed and cry. Of course, he was shell shocked just as much as her, but he couldn't show it. He had to think. They needed to survive somehow.

The summer wasn't looking too good at this moment.

  1. Did i just ruin my family? So im 17 (male), and i just came out to my parents and my dad
got mad and told me to get out of his house, but then my mum started to argue
with him. Now im sitting in my room and my parents are still arguing,
Did i ruin my family? Parents fighting is never your fault.
You went to your parents hoping they would
support you and you were disappointed. That's not your fault.
    That's their fault.

  2. Thanks for sharing. But remember in everything there are always some sort of side effect you might not be expecting. With every action, you have to remember there will be a next step. Sure, it will take them some time to absorb what just happened (You weren't exactly who they thought they were) and as usual, we are thinking of ourselves. Of course, you should be. Hopefully, you have the support of friends. For some its friends who do become family, after a while. But as one famous singer says at most of his concerts, "Time will heal everything." Just bare in mind, do you have the time?
